My hair started to go white in my mid forties. I wasn’t quite ready to let go of my dark brown hair. I wanted 100% natural and started using a beautifully decorated block of henna and indigo blend that included other things like coffee, salt , herbs and coconut oil. For some reason I was worried about trying the pure powders.
I would be close to crying every three weeks during application due to the extreme mess and stains everywhere and the hair fall as I would wash it out - it was so heavy on my head. And no matter what I tried, my hair had an orange tint. I had to do a two step process that took seven hours!
I put myself through this for almost two years until I finally bit the bullet and ordered the medium brown kit from Henna Canada. Instantly my hair was darker brown with no orange tints, I have had none of the extreme hair fall when washing out, and my hair is shinier and healthier than it’s been since my twenties.
There is no mess all over the bathroom and it takes me just four and a half hours now.
I’m just so grateful that your product has turned a ritual that was daunting for me into a ritual where I feel like a goddess and instead of crying, I can celebrate myself! Thank you!!

Vibrant with lovely coverage. I have incredibly fine and fragile hair so adding it in was rather arduous. While washing out, the extra thickness was immediately apparent and very much appreciated :)

I used to buy my red henna at a health food store. The results were unreliable and then the supply dried up. Down to my last portion of henna I scrambled to find another vendor and ventured into the online world. there were all sorts of claims of ‘authenticity’ and ‘healthy for hair’ but the suppliers couldn’t answer basic questions about the products and some outright lied.
I explored the henna canada website and was impressed by information I was never aware of before. I like to talk to people to get a feel for the company and the products so I called and lisa was enthusiastic, knowledgable, and taught me how to properly use henna. She went through each of my mistakes and carefully explained the method and the tools. It was eye opening. Not only is she likeable, and methodical, but her products are so great. My hair loves her henna! I know the right way to do things now, and when I have a question, lisa is cheerfully accommodating. I urge you to become acquainted with henna canada’s quality products. I use the rajasthani red henna but there are more to choose from. Thank you lisa!
